"It’s just such a shame that, as with so many things in Birmingham, it’s apparently impossible for one person to say “this is my idea and I’m going to own it”. A good idea needs an owner not a committee, and that person should be able to express the magnitude of their idea so that others buy into it. Whilst the people speaking all seemed to be in some way ‘partners’, there’s nobody emotionally attached to this concept, and I’m afraid that it’s going to be a damp squib."
